What is Birdies for Charity?
Birdies for Charity is a fundraising platform, hosted by the Biltmore Championship Asheville, that invites charitable organizations serving Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson and Madison counties to participate. Participating charities invite their donors to make a minimum $20 donation through Birdies for Charity. Donors are then given the chance to guess the number of birdies made during the competition rounds (Thursday, September 17-Sunday, September 20) of the 2026 Biltmore Championship Asheville. The individual who guesses the exact number of birdies or closest to (without going over) will receive The Ultimate Biltmore Experience, which includes a 3-night stay for two (2) guests in a Chateau Tier suite at the Forbes 4 Star Inn on the Property, Chef’s breakfast for 2 daily in The Dining Room, one Dinner for 2 in The Dining Room, Expert Guided Tour of Biltmore House for 2, Red, Wine & Chocolate experience for 2 and Valet Parking.
Biltmore Championship Asheville provides a bonus pool of $50,000, offering participating charities the opportunity to receive bonus dollars beyond what they fundraise. Funds awarded from the bonus pool will be based on the percentage an individual nonprofit raises to the total donations for all participants.
Nonprofit Information
Each participating organization must be a 501(c)(3) designated nonprofit that is located in the Asheville Metropolitan Area, including Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson and Madison counties. Organizations must register on an annual basis and be approved by PGA TOUR Charities to be eligible to participate in the program. Program applications take five-seven business days to process, and organizations will receive a confirmation email once their application has been approved.
Charity of the Day
The three highest-fundraising charities as of Wednesday, August 19, 2026 will each be recognized as a "Charity of the Day" during tournament week (Thursday, September 17, Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20). Each selected organization will receive a featured presence onsite, providing an opportunity to engage directly with tournament fans and elevate community awareness

All online donations will be collected by PGA TOUR Charities and then distributed to the respective organization at the end of the campaign. Any administrative fees associated with paying by credit card will be covered by PGA TOUR Charities. Donors wishing to donate via cash, check or donor advised funds will make their donations directly to the charity of their choice and then charities will upload them to the online tracking system. Nonprofits can access the donation tracking form below to notify the PGA TOUR of any donations received.
Donor Resources
Every dollar pledged goes directly to the charity of the donor’s choice. Thanks to the Biltmore Championship Asheville, there’s even more of a reason to get involved: a $50,000 bonus pool that will be allocated to fundraising organizations based on their level of participation.
The individual who guesses the exact number of birdies or closest to (without going over) will receive The Ultimate Biltmore Experience.
